Natural Growth Factors

IGF-1: Wound healing, proliferation of muscle cells

 

IGF-2: Wound healing; highest during fetal growth

 

TGF-ß (Beta): Wound healing, collagen synthesis, growth of osteoblasts

 

Epithelial Growth Factor (EGF): Fetal development and skin repair.

 

Vasoendothelial Growth Factor (VEGF): Wound healing, remodeling of injuries of all types, but especially those involving a lot of vascular damage.

 

Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF): Active during embryonic and early postnatial life.

 

Gonadotropin Releasing Growth Factor (GnRGF): Protein released from the nerve endings of the nose and eye. It is thought to be related to the regulation and reproductive cycles in man.

 

Tumor Necrosing Factor (TNF): Assists in fighting infection and killing bacteria.
